- The fonds contains minutes of meetings, files from 1930–1938, a religious tax register, fragmentary records of a Jewish school and a cash book of the associated community of Rokytnice in the Orlické Mountains.
- Archival history:
- The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Jewish settlement in Žamberk is documented from the middle of the 17th century. A Jewish religious community existed there from the latter half of the 17th century at the latest. It was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.
