- Administrative/biographical history:
- A Jewish settlement and religious community in Zderaz is documented from the 17th century. It was not until the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries that it had a large number of members. In the 20th century the community was usually referred to as Kolešovice–Zderaz (the Jewish settlement in Kolešovice was more sizeable). The community was disbanded after the annexation of the Sudetenland by Nazi Germany in 1938. It did not resume its activities after the Second World War.
