- The fonds contains minutes of meetings, election records, personnel files, registry records, official memoranda, correspondence, material relating to assistance for war refugees (1914–1918), financial records, lists of synagogue seats, the statutes (1891) and records of the burial society (chevra kadisha), fragmentary documents relating to a women's charity association and the Harmonia association.
- Archival history:
- The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- A minor settlement in Vlašim is documented in the 16th century and, subsequently, in the 18th century. A new Jewish religious community was established before the middle of the 19th century. It was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.
