- The fonds contains a plan for the Jewish town and some individual records.
- Archival history:
- The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Jewish settlement in Uherský Brod is documented from the end of the 15th century. A Jewish religious community existed there from the start of the 16th century at the latest, becoming one of the largest in Moravia in the 19th century. The community was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War but subsequently resumed its activities.
