- The fonds contains a register of synagogue seats and charitable foundations.
- Archival history:
- The record was incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Jewish settlement in Černovice dates from the 17th century. A Jewish religious community was established in 1897, comprising part of the area of the Jewish religious communities of Kamenice nad Lipou and Pacov. It was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.
