- The fonds contains a Familiantenbuch (register of Familiants) from 1789, a circumcision register (1801–1847), personnel files, registry records, official memoranda, documents relating to a fire in 1824, financial records, a cash book of the local Bikur Cholim Association, a memorial book of a Jewish women's association, and the minutes of meetings and Jewish school registers of the associated community of Batelov.
- Archival history:
- The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- It is assumed that there was a Jewish settlement in Třešť as early as the 15th century. A Jewish community there is reliably documented from the 17th century. A prominent yeshivah was active there in about 1800. The community was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.
- System of arrangement:
- Materials in the fonds are arranged thematically as follows: books/registers and files of the Jewish community, books/registers of Jewish associations and books/registers of an associated community.
