- The fonds contains the statutes of the Jewish Religious Community of Třebíč (1879–1908), material relating to the designation of the area of the Jewish religious community, minutes of meetings of the Jewish political community, minutes of meetings of the Jewish religious community, filing registers, election records, personnel files, registry records, certificates of domicile, official memoranda, correspondence, construction-related documents, business records, criminal case records, financial records, charitable foundation files, social welfare records, tax and fee records, registers of synagogue seats, Hazkarot, the statutes (1887) and records of the burial society (chevra kadisha), graves registers, books/registers of a Jewish women's association, the statutes and books/registers of a private association for the support of the sick, and fragmentary files of other Jewish associations/institutions.

- The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The earliest written reference to a Jewish settlement in Třebíč dates from 1410. A Jewish religious community was established there after the middle of the 15th century, becoming one of the largest in Moravia in the middle of the 19th century. It was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.
