- The fonds contains a Familiantenbuch (register of Familiants) from 1827–1828, minutes of meetings, correspondence, charitable foundation files, memorial documents relating to the construction of the local synagogue, the statutes (1808) and records of the burial society (chevra kadisha), a graves register, a cemetery plan, and a financial register of the associated community of Tažovice.

- The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Jewish settlement in Strakonice is documented from the end of the 15th century. It increased in size only in the latter half of the 19th century, when Strakonice was the seat of the regional rabbinate. A religious community existed there there from 17th century. The community was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.
