- Scope and content:
- The collection contains material from the Basel, Bern, Geneva and Zurich sections. The activities of the largest section, Zurich, are documented in detail, although not completely. There are considerable gaps in the collection with regard to the other sections. The supplementary collection covers the 1960s and 1970s. The collection contains minutes of meetings, reports 1946-1957, newsletters 1946-1957, membership lists, delegates' meetings 1947-1957 and accounts as well as correspondence of the sections concerning social, cultural and international organisations, reparations, student camps, member surveys (university statistics).

- The collection was transferred to the AfZ (Archives of Contemporary History) in several deliveries between 1997 and 2015.

- The Association of Jewish Students in Switzerland (VJSS) was founded in 1946 as the umbrella organisation for Jewish students in Switzerland and dissolved in 1969.
