- The collection comprises the estate of Heinz Stefan Herzka, a paediatrician and paediatric psychiatrist. It mainly contains textual records, including biographical documents, but also official documents such as those confirming his naturalisation. It also includes Herzka’s correspondence with his father, Hans Herzka, Manfred Beyer and Hermann Levin Goldschmidt. The collection contains recordings of Herzka’s appearances on TV and radio.

- Heinz Stefan Herzka was born in Vienna in 1935. His family fled Austria in 1938 and found refuge in Switzerland. Herzka became a famous paediatrician and paediatric psychiatrist.
