- The collection mainly contains documents concerning several Jewish organisations that Mary Goldschmidt-Bollag worked for, as well as her husband’s manuscripts.

- Administrative/biographical history:
- Mary Levin Goldschmidt-Bollag was born in Zurich on 6 December 1913 and died on 8 December 1992 in Zurich. She was a citizen of Endingen and the daughter of the Zurich gallery owner Léon Bollag and Babette Moos of Karlsruhe. She was a member of the Zionist youth organisation “Hashomer Hatzair“, graduated from high school, and earned a commercial diploma in 1934. Subsequently, she worked in the “ETANIA-Hilfsverein“ for Jewish lung patients in Davos and in child care at the children's home in Heiden (Appenzell) in 1935. From 1935 to 1939, she worked for the “Verband Schweizerischer Israelitischer Armenpflegen“ (VSIA) and from 1940 to 1946, as a secretary at the welfare commission of the Israelite Community of Zurich. From 1950 to 1958, Goldschmidt-Bollag was the head of the job placement office of the SIG (Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities) and from 1959 to 1970, of the ICZ job placement office. In 1962, she married Hermann Levin Goldschmidt. In 1990, she founded, together with her husband, the “Stiftung Dialogik, Mary und Hermann Levin Goldschmidt-Bollag“ at the AfZ.
