- The collection includes two pieces concerning Hohenems. One is a painting from 1706 of Hohenems depicting the town, including the Judengasse (“Jewish alley”), and various castles – some ruined – of the counts of Hohenems. The other is a plan of the town from 1911, which shows the town and also includes the Jewish alley.

- The collection includes maps, plans, paintings and prints of various towns, cities, countries, territories and other places covering the period from the 15th century to the end of the first world war. The Austrian war archive was established in 1801 and mainly contains documents of the former Austrian imperial war office.
