- The collection “Estate of Hans Bruner” is a non-Jewish collection with a certain number of Jewish-related documents. It includes private correspondence and manuscripts of Hans Bruner, but also antisemitic material, such as anti-Jewish and propagandistic newspaper articles, cartoons and pictures which deal with the “Jewish Question”, Jewish history and religious topics. These articles depict Jews as “warmongers”, economic profiteers and seekers of global domination. The collection also contains an issue of the antisemitic newspaper “Auf gut Deutsch”, which contains pictures of German politicians with antisemitic statements.

- The collection was donated to the City Archive at some point in the 20th century.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The collection was created by Hans Bruner (1874-1960) who graduated as a lawyer in 1899 and worked for the Austrian Federal Railway. He was also an important member of the Federal Railway Council and a well-known author of the daily newspaper “Tiroler Heimatblätter”. He donated this collection to the City Archive in Innsbruck.
