- This is a non-Jewish collection with a small number of Jewish-related documents. The “Records” cover the period from 1300 to 2000 and include administrative details of various legal matters, such as decrees, edicts, regulations, petitions, complaints and similar documents. Concerning the Jewish element in this collection, there are documents about inclusion, exclusion and tolerance, as well as trade regulations for Jews and complaints of local traders against foreign pedlars (e.g. Savoyards and Jews) who did not have a legal licence for trading in Innsbruck. In general these documents contain information about the marginalisation of Jews as well as the discrimination against foreigners with regards to their economic activity.
