The collection holds a small number of interrogation protocols concerning a Jewish individual named Abraham von Blumenegg, who lived in the imperial barony of Blumenegg around 1640. A small number of Jewish individuals are documented in the documents of the barony. They lived there for some time between 1637 and 1674. However, Abraham von Blumenegg is the only one mentioned by name.

- The collection was created in 1964.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The barony of Blumenegg was a small county located in the Walgau region of Vorarlberg. The territory was ruled by the counts of Werdenberg in the beginning and from 1391 onwards by the barons of Brandis, followed by the counts of Sulz (1510 to 1613) and the abbey of Weingarten. When the abbey was dissolved in 1802-03 the barony came to the house of Orange-Nassau before it was handed to the house of Habsburg in 1804.
