- The collection includes the writ of protection for the Jew Lazarus of Herford and trial against Israel of Lübbecke.
- Archival history:
- This collection (formerly Best. 3) is the result of the efforts of archivists of the 19th century to create collections according to pertinence, with documents taken from the files and merged elsewhere. This was mainly related to documents pertaining to the noble families of Oldenburg, who were assigned to a newly formed collection of noble history and were arranged there by family (old collection Best. 283).
