- The collections contains files on the “Jewish question”, also in Oldenburg, partly as a collection of material for the work in the German Parliament (Bundestag); newspaper articles, photos and photocopies.
- Archival history:
- Martin Sellmann left his collection of materials on Günther Heinrich von Berg as well as work-related files and writings in legal studies to the archive.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Dr. jur. Martin Sellmann (1903-1982) was president of the Oldenburg administrative court (Verwaltungsgerichtspräsident) from 1954-1968 and helped train junior personnel in the judiciary and administration. He wrote numerous works on the study of law and the history of law, but was also interested in other historical disciplines, such as numismatics.
