- The collection contains a convocation file on the sale by the widow of the Jew Levi of a house with a stable and garden on the main road in Ovelgönne, as well as the file entitled "complaint of the Israelite head of the religious community in Ovelgönne, Herz Levy Löwenthal, against Adolph Vincent in Ovelgönne due to impairment of the properties belonging to the synagogue”.

- In the course of the administrative and judicial reform of 1814, seven regional courts were created as intermediate instances subordinate to the department of justice. With the judicial reform of 1857, the superior courts in Oldenburg, Varel and Vechta took their place.
