- The collection contains material about Israel Jacobson, trials and proceedings involving Jews.
- Archival history:
- The ducal court was modelled by chancellor Münsinger von Frundeck on the imperial court and was opened on 13 January 1557. In the first instance, it was responsible for the nobility and appellate court for the subordinate residents of the lower courts. Until about 1580, the ducal court was merely an extension of the department of justice, the only central authority in the state.
