- The collection includes general matters with a focus on administration; finance; personnel; economics; construction; general land surveying and holding of court. Documents of the administrative districts are included insofar as they cover several administrative offices or personnel matters, especially the judicial official with the administrative districts. Administrative districts that were temporarily part of the Duchy of Braunschweig, are also listed in this collection. Of special interest is the documentation regarding the intercession of the Princely Councils in Osterode on behalf of the Jew Philip Isaak living in Nordheim (1622, Nr. 2853).
