- Administration of the fabrica ecclesia [church building, operation and associated funds] of Gandersheim with Israel Jacobson as witness of the charter, various certifications of Jews, repression of Jews by the religious foundation.
- Archival history:
- The Kanonissenstift [Canonesses’ foundation] was founded in the 9th century by the later duke Liudolf. As early as 877, the convent was placed under the protection of the empire by King Ludwig the Younger and thus gained considerable independence, especially from the diocese of Hildesheim. In 919, King Heinrich I confirmed the imperial immediacy of the convent. This close connection to the royal court meant that they had to accommodate the king on his travels through the kingdom. Various visits by kings are recorded. The convent was reformed after 1589.
