- The collection contains various items concerning Jews: the mayor and council warn Jews and others against distributing forged coins; offensive poem in which a baptised Jew is mentioned; Duke Erich of Saxony releases the city of Lüneburg from liabilities on account of the slain Jews (1351); note about the persecution of Jews in Lüneburg 1350.

- All charters concerning the city of Lüneburg were collected in a register in 1871 and later brought into the so-called charter hall in the vault of the newly built city archive.
