Parish Archives Vechta St. Georg, file 440: June pilgrimage (1822-1828), concerns baptism of Haimann Joseph from Amsterdam (1822), prohibition of the intended wedding ceremony of the same with Therese Fürstenberg from Vechta by public official (Amtsmann) Schmedes (1823), baptism of those imprisoned in the prison, Sophia Calman [? Colmann] from Barßel (1827-28); Dep. Parish Archives Vechta St. Georg, file 485: prohibition of scenic presentations on Good Friday (1780), contains a letter by the pastor Schwers in Vechta asking for permission, at the procession on Good Friday, to perform the devotional "the cross-bearing Heyland” [Saviour], including one or more Jews present, in addition the rejection of this proposal by the Vicariate General in Münster.
