The collection contains feudal files of the prince-bishopric (Hochstift) of Hildesheim; the Hildesheim cathedral chapter; the Hildesheim convents and monasteries; the barons of Brabeck; the estate of Bolzum and the lords of Stopler.
Of special interest to Jewish history are: case of the heirs of Dr. Storre and the Jew Samuel against the feudal secretary Christoph Abel regarding 6 hides of land in Peine, pledged to them by the lords of Schwicheldt; cathedral chapter: case of the citizen of Hildesheim Ulrich Willerding and Jakob von Saldern regarding outstanding debts, including: copies of documents of the Jew Heinrich Leffmann in Hildesheim, 3 July 1629 (fragment), 22 December 1629 and 3 June 1627.
