- The collection contains: church and school construction; appointments of priests; minutes; visitation; ordinances; church estates; parish incidentals; school matters; individual civil status registers and church ancillary registers; church property registers; treasury and accounting matters; parochial widow's insurance fund; Hildesheim consistory. Of special interest to Jewish history are: conversion of Jews to Christianity; petition by headmaster (Rektor) Völger because of the obligation of the Jews in Lauenau to pay dues to the clergy; regulations of the duke and the spiritual authorities, as well as state parties for church and Jewish matters (Decreta singulorum conventuum dominorum superintenum inter Dysterum et Lanum nec non superioris comitatus Hojensis); petition by the school teacher Grethe for compensation for school fees from Jewish families in Herrenhausen; participation of the children of Jewish inhabitants in Hoya in the classes of the Christian local schools; petitions of the cantor Ohlhoff in Hoya because of the school money to be paid by the Israelites Leeser, Aaron Elias and Isaac Elias.
