- The collection contains records relating to administration, legal matters, domain matters, forestry and hunting, estates, levies and services, buildings, municipal and police matters, church and school. Of special interest are the following: list of names of Jews living in Osterode/Harz; birth, marriage and death lists of the Jews of the synagogue association of Echte; birth, marriage and death lists of the Jews of the synagogue association of Förste; reconstruction of the buildings burned down in 1814 in the “Jews' street” (Judenstrasse) in Osterode/Harz.
