- The collection includes records relating to territorial, military, cathedral, forestry and hunting matters; taxes; services and levies; commercial, agricultural, water and state park, police, redemption matters; church and school. Of special interest to Jewish history are: domanial dues of the Jews; castellany (Burgvogtei) of Celle (various): Jewish customs duty and commitment of hired coachmen (Heuerkutscher) to be supervised, 1689-1726; slaughter industry in the bailiwick of Celle: complaints of the butchers because of unlicensed activity outside the gates, especially slaughtering by the Jews, and corresponding orders implemented, 1689-1755; payment of the surplice fee by the Jewish residents to the clergy; trade of wool, wax and honey: buying wool in the administrative district of Celle by the Jewish merchants Moses Friedberg and Itzig Wertheimer from Peine and ignoring the prohibition of such wool, 1825-1827;
