- The collection contains records relating to, among others, governance, taxes, levies and services, statistics, chamber matters, military matters, church and school systems, community divisions. Of special interest to Jewish history are: regulations regarding the "protected Jews" ("Schutzjuden"); applications by the "Schutzjuden" in Bleckede to create a Jewish ‘church’ on the so-called White Mountains and to enlarge the burial ground; regulations regarding the begging Jews and “gypsies”; "Schutzjuden" in the hamlet (Flecken) of Bleckede; "Schutzjuden" and their development over the last ten years; number and trade of "Schutzjuden"; fixing the commercial objects of the "Schutzjuden"; Lüneburg Landwehr Battalion: attracting foreigners and Israelites, list of foreigners residing in Bleckede and Garze for more than three years, investigations, completion of the unit, the Landwehr Reserve.
