- The collection contains, among others: general files; personal documents; opinions on draft legislation and regulations as well as in government matters; transfer of court jurisdiction; complaints; dismissal of servants by way of disciplinary measures; conflicts of competence; scheduling of meetings; miscellaneous. Of special interest to Jewish history are: review of the draft laws promoted by the ministries of interior and the judiciary on a more appropriate establishment of the Jewish oath.
- Archival history:
- On 21 January 1839, the privy council replaced the privy council college. The privy council consisted of the princes of the royal house who were of age, of full members, permanent due to their office, and of extraordinary members appointed by the king only for a certain period of time. It was chaired by the king or a president appointed by him.
