- The family and estate archive Goertz-Wrisbergholzen in Wrisbergholzen was transferred to the Lower Saxony State Archives in an emergency rescue operation in 2014. As a result of the poor storage conditions at Wrisbergholzen castle, the collection was already contaminated with mould and has therefore been closed for use until further notice.
