This collection contains records relating to state constitution; laws and regulations; assembly of the estates and provincial Landtag [regional assembly]; city administration (asset management, foundations, register matters, financial and tax matters, military matters, church and school matters, police, agriculture, Jewish affairs, voluntary jurisdiction, municipal constitution, personnel matters, auditing, culture, care, health and veterinary administration, surveying and building matters, public institutions, economic development, public security and order) of the town of Pattensen and the districts of Oerie, Thiedenwiese, Vardegötzen and Schulenburg.
Of special interest to Jewish history are: holding a private service in the temple of the Jew Jonas Frank; the domanial fees payable by the Jews; trade and commercial activities of the Jews in Pattensen; trade of the Jews living in Pattensen, general announcements; the Jewish protection money (residence allowance) in 1814; general decrees from the municipal administration, includes, among others, decrees against Jews, 1938 to 1948.
