- The collection Dep. 103 VI: Embassies of the kingdom of Hannover contains among others: request of the Frensdorff siblings in Hildesheim for mediation in inheritance matters of the late Jew Deffson; environment of the Jews in the kingdom of Hannover; paper by Dr. Böhmer, Göttingen, on equality of Jews; improvement of Jews, including: printed Hannover ordinances and offers on protection of Jews; Jews in Frankfurt/Main.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- In 1819, the Kingdom of Hannover maintained embassies with the Federal Convention (Bundestag) in Frankfurt, in Karlsruhe, Paris, Vienna, Rome, Berlin, Petersburg, Dresden, Stuttgart and Hamburg. The most important of these diplomatic residences were in Vienna, Frankfurt, Berlin, Paris, Petersburg and Hamburg, which were never abolished.
