- The collection contains genealogical research on the Abelmann and Himstedt families from Bolzum, including newspaper clippings from 1942 about "The Land Jews in the Hochstift [prince-bishopric] of Hildesheim around 1802”.
- Archival history:
- Eight packets of materials pertaining to acts of the Guelphs were donated by Dr. Busch to the main State Archives of Hannover on 30 April 1970. In February 1972 and June 1974 an additional 16 boxes, eight packages and literature about Burgdorf and the Großes Freies and the Kleines Freies (a settlement area between Hannover, Hildesheim and Peine) from the Busch estate with a list of contents were given to the main state archive by Hans Mahrenholtz.
