- The collection contains documents of the Hessian central administration and the administrative districts of Uchte, Freudenberg and Auburg between the 16th century and 1816, as well as files of the government commission in Hannover. Of special interest are: Jews in the administrative districts of Auburg, Freudenberg and Uchte; petition by the butcher Wolf Ries from Uchte on behalf of the other Jewish butchers to ban the import of meat from the countryside.
