- The collection contains, among others: short description of appointment; petitions; correspondence; letters of recommendation and intercession; documents relating to succession, including Braunschweig and Grubenhagen succession; inheritance contract between Georg Wilhelm and Ernst August; gifts; marriages; holding of court; notification of foreign family certificates; debts and bonds; disputes within the princely house; deaths. Of special interest to Jewish history are: instructions to the treasury for the payment of competency funds [i.e. annuities] to foreign ministers and servants (through the mediation of the Jew Leffman Behrens); letter by duke Wilhelm the Younger of Braunschweig-Lüneburg (Celle) to the Lüneburg councillor Dr Theobald Grummer in Harburg; church thefts of Jews in Braunschweig.
