From the collection of the prince-bishopric of Hildesheim, demesne of Homburg, county of Everstein, these are files of the Celle archive on the relationship of the principality of Lüneburg with spiritual rulers (among others, pope, archdiocese, diocese).
Of special interest to Jewish history are: records relating to street robbers who robbed some Jews near Peine in Sunderholz and shot one of them; rescript (edict) to the electoral Cologne chancellors and councils in Hildesheim for Heinrich Heckenberg in Walsrode against the Jew Jacob Salomon; rescript to the district administrator in Peine for Tile Diekmann, citizen in Burgdorf, against the Jew Samuel for the sale of wax.
