The collections Celle Br. 9 to Celle Br. 101 concern imperial and other cities, such as Bützow, Hildesheim, Rostock, Stettin, Trier, but the collection of Celle Br. 101 also contains material regarding a number of cities such as Bodenwerder, Dahlenburg, Dannenberg, Hameln, Helmstedt, Holzminden, Königslutter, Münden, Northeim, Oebisfelde, Schöppenstedt, Springe. In general, the material deals not so much with political as with economic matters: intercessions, advocacy in favour of those arrested, debts, etc. It also contains considerable amounts of material relating to trade (including numerous customs, market and road matters) as well as records relating to inheritance items, debt, commercial matters, events of war.
Of special interest to Jewish history are the following files: princely chamber in Celle: intercessions and letters to the mayor and council of the city of Höxter regarding debts of private individuals, etc.; application of the Jew Nathan of Verden to Duke Christian of Braunschweig-Lüneburg in Celle for escort to marry his daughter to the Jew Lefman Bacherach in Paderborn.
