- Archival history:
- Cal. Br. 9 comprises municipal files of the principality of Grubenhagen, including Elbingerode and Duderstadt. Although the administrative district of Grubenhagen - later Osterode - was abolished in 1689, the collection nevertheless contains isolated documents from the 18th century. Finally, in the 19th century, the files concerning the town of Duderstadt, which together with the Eichsfeld belonged to Hannover after the Westphalian foreign rule, were given to the principality of Grubenhagen.
