The section contains smaller sets of documents, mostly deriving from private collections, relevant for the history of the town of Glückstadt. Two collections are relevant for Jewish history:
No. 110 contains documents from the personal estate of Isaac Israel, who was a citizen of Glückstadt in the late 18th century. The small collection consists of five elements: three official documents concerning legal status and settlement of Isaac Israel, a set of business papers and related correspondence of Isaac Israel and requests by Isaac Israel to the Danish king Christian VII.
No. 11 contains additional documents from the estate of the Israel family. The small collection contains a letter to W S Warburg in Altona (1843) and a set of business correspondence from between 1814 and 1822.
- Archival history:
- The files relating to Isaac Israel and the Israel family were donated to Glückstadt Town Archive by their descendant Stephen Tendlow.
