The Administration Archive comprises the town administration's records. It contains three files that are relevant to Jewish history:
No. 2468 comprises material about the Jewish cemetery in Ahrensburg, starting with its forced liquidation in 1940 and discussions about the further use of the estate, including the possibility of exhuming the corpses and bury them in mass-graves to get quick access to the grounds. The local administration refuses to pay refunds to the local Jewish association. The cemetery is eventually taken over by the local financial authorities. The file also contains material about the re-establishment of the cemetery starting in 1950.
No. 5072 contains more recent material about the Jewish cemetery in Ahrensburg, starting in 1956. This involves correspondence about financial aspects, such as rental issues or gardening expenses.
An additional file (no number yet) comprises material from the building inspection concerning the further development of the Jewish cemetery after 1950. It contains plans and building applications.
