The collection contains two files that are relevant to Jewish history: No. 67 comprises material from the former municipality archive, including rules about the restriction of access for Jewish citizens (1939). No. 413 contains a collection of directives about public social welfare for Jews (1938-39).

- The Prussian municipality of Grohn, in the rural district of Osterholz, was founded in 1913. In 1939 it was suburbanised as part of the rural district of Vegesack, belonging to Bremen. After the Second World War it was reorganised as part of the Bremen city district of Bremen-Nord.
