- Collection 3-A.4 comprises material about emigration, with records covering the legal, governmental and logistic aspects. The collection contains a separate section specifically about the emigration of the Jewish population, with most of the material deriving from the time of National Socialism. The collection contains legal and governmental material as well as correspondence from case files, such as applications by Jewish citizens wanting to leave the country. The collection furthermore contains documents about the remigration of Jews after the Second World War, partially linked to trials of restitution and material about the re-establishment of Jewish cultural life in Bremen.
