- The collection comprises material from the former rural district of Steinburg. It contains two relevant files: File no. 251 comprises material concerning the treatment of Jews under National Socialist rule after the “Kristallnacht“ pogrom in 1938. It contains documents about further exclusion and deportations. File No. 2162 comprises documents from the rural district's Jewish congregation from the late 19th and early 20th century, mainly lists of congregation members and requests concerning religious life, the cemetery etc.
