- The material relevant for Jewish history is arranged in files, each of which deals with Jews in a specific town or region located in the former duchies of Schleswig and Holstein. Most files comprise material on economic issues such as businesses run by Jewish citizens. The files also contain documents about the legal protection of Jewish citizens, specifically Jews of Portuguese origin living in the town of Glückstadt.
