Collection Abt. 142 comprises material regarding the relationship to citizens of religions other than the Lutheran-Protestant denomination. This also includes eight files about the relationships to Jews living in Itzehoe and its surroundings.
No. 8 contains material about the town administration's official complaint about local citizen Hans von Thienen giving shelter to Polish Jews. The complaint includes references to riots and business struggles caused by the presence of Polish Jews.
No. 9 contains material about discussions concerning the liberalisation of trade in town and the abolishment of the trade guild in order to allow Jews to trade freely. The town administration interrupts the discussions by stating that no Jews live in Itzehoe.

No. 11 contains the correspondence with the Itzehoe butcher's guild about the permission for Wolf Seligmann's son to finish his apprenticeship.
No. 12 contains documents about the decade-long struggle between the Itzehoe trade guild and the Jew Jonas Samuel concerning his trade privilege.
No. 13 contains material about the statement that no Jews are living in Itzehoe.
No. 14 is missing.
No. 15 contains the agreement that local police forces have to report statistics about Jews in town to the local priest's office.
No. 16 comprises material about the decision to forbid exclusion of Jews from the local craft guilds.
No. 17 contains the town magistrate's report about Jewish settlement in town.
