Collection SH2 comprises general material about Jews in the German federal state of Schleswig-Holstein. The material is arranged by subject into nine main sub-collections:
SH2-1: Jewish emancipation; SH2-2: general material about Jewish history; SH2-3 1938 November pogroms; SH2-4: current situation of Jewish congregations; SH2-5: list of Jewish families from the 19th century. SH2-6 to 9 contains the so-called Paul collection about Jewish life in Schleswig-Holstein.
Two additional folders contain material about the museum's special exhibition "Vergessene Kinder" ("Forgotten Children”).
