Collection Pers1 comprises material relating to individual persons in the town of Rendsburg with an emphasis on Jewish citizens. The collection is divided into 14 subject-based sub-collections.
The first five sections contain material relating to individuals in alphabetical order, with the folders divided into the sub-sections A to F, G, H to L, M to R, S to Z. Within these sub-divisions the material is arranged in alphabetical order by family. These collections contain personal documents, pictures, manuscripts and interviews. Examples of personal documents are marriage certificates, passports and ID cards, employment references, criminal record certificates etc. The collection also contains non-governmental documents such as diaries, reports, speeches and manuscripts of essays or books.
Section 6 contains material specifically about the Fred Ring family. It includes pictures, memories, correspondence and newspaper clippings from the 1920s until today.
Section 7 contains smaller collections about local Jewish families, including documents about the Adlerstein, Doum, Goldberg, Lexandrowitz, and Posner families from Rendsburg and surrounding areas.
Section 8 comprises material exclusively about the Bamberger family in Rendsburg. The section contains bills and invoices, marriage, birth and death certificates as well as family correspondence.
Section 9 is the Bamberger family's photo collection.
Section 10 comprises material about the local Weinberger family, including pictures, correspondence, oral history interviews and legal certificates.
Section 11 contains material about Henry Gerald, including pictures of the Gerald family, newspaper clippings and correspondence.
Section 12 comprises interviews with Eva Hoffmann.
Section 13 comprises material about the local family David.
Section 14 comprises material about the local family Magnus.
