- The file comprises material about the restitution case concerning the former estates of Edith Hurwitz, who was a Jewish citizen of Walsrode. She had already prepared the sale of her business (a small store), when it was burned down in the 1938 November Pogroms. Hurwitz was forced to sell the remains and was later deported and killed in the Shoah. Her nephew requests the restitution of former family estates or financial compensation.
