- The files of the magistrate include some files concerning the Jewish inhabitants of Ludwigslust, as follows: Sig. 256: fire on the property of merchant S. Josephy, Sandstraße, 27 and 29 July 1910 (insurance questions); Sig. 135: destruction of the residential house of Siegmund Josephy in Schloßstraße by fire on 12 March 1887 (including police report); Sig. 421: collection of congregation costs; monetary claims between members of the Jewish congregation (1893); Sig. 1/235: collection of contributions to the treasury of the Israelitische Landgemeinde; counting of the Jews since approx. 1811; Grand Ducal Invitation to Count (1810); lists with names of Jewish inhabitants; congregation regulations; negotiations about the sale of the synagogue; file Auguste Jacobsohn (1810(1941); Sig. 1/119: Jewish cemetery Ludwigslust (Neustädter Allee); annex; site plan; questionnaire on Jewish cemeteries in the communities and spots (Gemeinden und Flecken) (1935); communications from Mecklenburg cities according to questionnaire (Jewish inhabitants and a Jewish cemetery) (1823/1947); Sig. 1/117: Purchase of the Jewish cemetery (1943/1950).
