- The city archive looks after the historical and current records of the city of Grevesmühlen and the Grevesmühlen-Land office with its associated municipalities. The holdings of the city archive are divided into three accession periods: 1. period until 1945, 2. period of 1945-1990 (this includes no. 166 maintenance of the Jewish cemetery with funds of a blocked account of the Jewish merchant Salomon), 3. period since 1990. Building and land files represent supplementary sources.
